Terms of Service

1. Accepting these terms

By creating an account or using UPSC Garden, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you are not legally able to enter a contract, a parent or guardian must accept these terms for you.

2. Educational purpose

UPSC Garden provides practice questions, Current Affairs quizzes, progress visualisation and study recommendations. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by the Union Public Service Commission. We do not guarantee selection, rank, marks or any examination outcome. Always verify official notices, syllabi and exam rules with the relevant authority.

3. Your account

Keep control of the mobile number used to sign in and do not share authentication codes. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. One person should use one account; accounts and subscriptions may not be sold or transferred.

4. Acceptable use

You may use UPSC Garden for personal, non-commercial exam preparation. You must not:

• copy, scrape, republish, resell or systematically extract questions, explanations, artwork or app data;
• reverse engineer, bypass access controls or interfere with service security;
• use automation to create accounts, attempt tests or overload the service;
• upload malicious material or use the service unlawfully;
• misrepresent an association with UPSC Garden.

5. Premium subscriptions

The monthly introductory offer costs ₹1 and provides Premium for one day. Unless cancelled, the approved mandate then renews at ₹249 per month. Cancelling during the introductory day stops renewal but access continues until that day ends. If a monthly fee has been paid, cancellation stops future renewal and access continues until the paid period ends.

The annual plan costs ₹2,299 per year and is available from the Plans section. It renews yearly if recurring billing is authorised. Prices and taxes shown at checkout apply. Any future price change will be communicated before it applies where required.

A failed renewal may receive a one-day grace period. After access ends, Premium features are locked. Progress may be held for 21 days for restoration and then scheduled for deletion, subject to legal retention requirements.

6. Content and availability

We work to keep questions accurate and the service available, but Current Affairs changes and occasional errors or interruptions may occur. We may correct, withdraw or update content. Features may change as the product improves. We will not materially reduce an already-paid period without providing an appropriate remedy required by law.

7. Intellectual property

UPSC Garden, Bob, the garden artwork, software, original questions, explanations and branding are owned by or licensed to us. These terms give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for personal study; they do not transfer ownership.

8. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service or delete your account at any time. We may restrict or terminate access for material breach, fraud, abuse, security risk or legal requirement. Where reasonable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.

9. Liability and governing law

To the extent permitted by law, UPSC Garden is provided “as available”. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, lost study time or exam outcomes. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable consumer rights.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue.
