Account and data controls
Delete your account
You can permanently delete your UPSC Garden account and associated learning progress from inside the app or request deletion without reinstalling it.
Delete inside the app
- Sign in to UPSC Garden.
- Open Me.
- Choose Account, then Delete account.
- Review the warning and confirm permanent deletion.
If an active Razorpay subscription exists, UPSC Garden requests cancellation before deleting the account. Check your UPI app or Google Play as well to confirm that future recurring payments are stopped.
Request deletion on the web
Email us from an address you can access and provide the mobile number registered with UPSC Garden. We may ask you to verify control of that number before deleting data so that another person cannot delete your account.
Send a deletion request
What is deleted
- account profile and onboarding choices;
- test attempts, answers, scores and Current Affairs progress;
- plant, garden, growth, mastery and sprint records;
- streaks, Bob checkpoints, notifications and registered push tokens;
- local subscription linkage and entitlement records, subject to required payment records.
What may be retained
We may retain the minimum payment, fraud-prevention, dispute or compliance records required by law. These records are restricted and are not used to restore your deleted learning profile. Secure backups may take additional time to cycle out.
Before you delete
Deletion is permanent and your garden and progress cannot be recovered. If you only want to stop Premium, cancel the subscription instead; cancellation preserves access until the current paid period ends.
