Refund & Cancellation Policy

How the ₹1 introductory day, renewals, cancellations, payment failures and refund requests work.

Effective 23 July 2026

1. Monthly introductory offer

You pay ₹1 for one day of Premium. At checkout you approve recurring billing of ₹249 per month beginning after that introductory day. If you cancel the mandate during the introductory day, Premium remains available until the one-day period ends and the ₹249 renewal will not be charged.

2. Monthly and annual renewals

The monthly plan renews at ₹249 per month. If you cancel after a monthly payment, Premium remains available until the end of that paid billing period; cancellation prevents the next renewal.

The annual plan is ₹2,299 per year and renews yearly if recurring billing remains authorised. Cancelling an annual plan prevents the next annual charge and access continues through the paid annual period.

3. How to cancel

You can manage or cancel through Me → Plans / Manage subscription in UPSC Garden. UPI AutoPay mandates may also be cancelled in the UPI app used to approve them. Google Play purchases must be managed through Google Play. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Cancellation is prospective. It stops the next renewal; it does not normally reverse a charge for a period that has already started.

4. Refund requests

The ₹1 introductory payment and subscription fees are generally non-refundable once the corresponding access period begins. We will review requests involving duplicate charges, an incorrect amount, an unauthorised transaction, a charged payment with no access, or another remedy required by applicable law.

If Google Play processed the purchase, its refund process and decision rules apply. For Razorpay/UPI payments, contact us with the registered mobile number, payment date, amount and payment reference. Never send your UPI PIN or OTP.

5. Failed renewals and access

A failed renewal may receive a one-day grace period. If payment is not recovered, Premium is locked after the grace period. Progress may be retained for 21 days so it can be restored if you subscribe again, and is then scheduled for deletion subject to required legal records.

6. Payment reversals

If a payment is reversed, charged back or found fraudulent, related Premium access may be removed. We may ask for information reasonably needed to investigate a disputed payment.

7. Request payment support

Email support.upscgarden@gmail.com with your registered mobile number, amount, date, payment method and Razorpay/Google Play reference. Do not include bank credentials, UPI PINs or OTPs.
